Canada immigration · Express Entry

Express Entry from Pakistan starts with an honest CRS check.

Express Entry is how most skilled workers move to Canada as permanent residents. Before you spend on tests and documents, we sit down with your age, degree, English and work history and tell you plainly where you stand.

Who Express Entry suits

Most refusals we see come from small mismatches: a job title that does not fit the NOC code, a gap in experience letters, or funds that cannot be traced. We check these before your profile goes in, not after.

  • Graduates with at least one year of continuous, full-time skilled work experience
  • Applicants who can score well in IELTS General Training, CELPIP or PTE Core
  • Couples where both partners have degrees and good test scores
  • People who have studied or worked in Canada before

Step by step

How Express Entry works

  1. 1

    Check your eligibility

We estimate your CRS score and show you which changes would actually move it.

  2. 2

    Language test and degree assessment

You take IELTS, CELPIP or PTE Core, and get your degree assessed by an approved body such as WES.

  3. 3

    Create your profile

We build your Express Entry profile carefully, because every claim must match your documents later.

  4. 4

    Invitation to apply

If you are invited in a draw, you have 60 days to submit the full application with all documents.

  5. 5

    Checks and decision

Biometrics, medical and background checks follow, then IRCC makes its decision.

  • IELTS General, CELPIP or PTE Core results
  • Educational credential assessment (for example WES)
  • Experience letters with duties, hours and salary
  • Proof of settlement funds (unless exempt)

Questions

Express Entry FAQs

What CRS score do I need for Express Entry?

There is no fixed score. Cut-offs change with every draw and with the type of draw. We estimate your score and show you realistic ways to raise it, such as a better language result or your spouse's credentials.

Can I apply from Pakistan without a job offer?

Yes. A job offer is not required for the Federal Skilled Worker Program. You do need skilled work experience, an approved language test, a degree assessment and enough settlement funds.

Which English tests are accepted?

IRCC accepts IELTS General Training, CELPIP-General and PTE Core for Express Entry. IELTS Academic is not accepted for this purpose.

How long does Express Entry take?

IRCC aims to process most complete applications within about six months of submission. Preparing tests, your degree assessment and documents before that usually takes a few months.
