Questions
IELTS classes: common questions
Which IELTS do I need, Academic or General Training?
Academic is for university admission abroad. General Training is for immigration to Canada, Australia or New Zealand and for some work routes. If you are not sure, tell us your plan and we confirm it before you start.
Can I take IELTS classes online?
Yes. The 7 pm General Training class and the 8 pm Academic class run live online, and the 5 pm class is hybrid, so you can join in class or from home.
How long does IELTS preparation take?
It depends on your current level and the band you need. We check your level first, then suggest a plan. Most students attend Monday to Friday and sit the Saturday mock tests to track progress.
What happens in the Saturday mock test?
You take listening, reading, writing and speaking under real test timing from 3 pm to 6 pm, then get feedback on where you can gain bands.
Do you also prepare students for PTE?
Yes. PTE classes run at 1 pm, 4 pm and 7 pm on weekdays, and we can help you decide which test suits your university or visa.
